Kate Miller-Heidke is probably my favourite musician ever and it makes me really sad that more people don’t listen to Little Eve or Nightflight or her early works and just chalk her up as a two hit wonder with Last Day On Earth and Caught In The Crowd because she’s so insanely talented and deserves way more acclaim from the public than she got

I’m trying to get into writing more often, so to inspire myself I’ve started this sort of activity where I take the title of a poem/book/song/etc, and write something based off that title, and THEN I go back and read the original to see if what I wrote was similar or different. It’s an interesting activity in both writing and seeing how something can be interpreted in different ways and yeah
