i just wish i had more spare time to work on this rather than the school assignments which used to be fun but are now not so fun in fact they’re positively educational now

(these are probably super outdated or have already been redone to a higher quality by now but I said I’d do it so I’m damn well doing it)

I’m also still working on fixing up those banners too see :)

okay twilight sparkles is like average height but like bony and knobby and has like a grunt up indoor pallor, she wears sweat pants (her symbol is like flakey well worn sweat pants plastic stuff thats on sweatpants) and like an oversized tee shirt like no boobs she has really straight teeth her hair is a dyeing experiment so its like rooty and bad dye

pinkie pie is like apple bottom jeans boots with the fur with the fur shes like heavy bottomed but taller than twilight sparkles and normally wears pink uggs and pink short shorts that are a size too small so she has them unbottoned and like frilly pink shirts she has tons of fashionable 1950s style dresses she wears to other peoples parties that have her cutie mark on them also her aprons for work are cutie marked themed her hair is all natural though no one beleives her and she has a really ruddy complextion

rarity is the tallest of them shes pushing like 6’2” in flats and shes like mega tonned  shes indian-ish she also tans cause she spends so much time in doors and tries to not look like she does all her outfits are white the main one she wears has a slit up the side and her cutie mark is a diamond shaped tattoo and then the rest of her dress is like tyed up diamond design she wears curlers to bed and dyes her hair that purply colour she runs a questionable fashion and bondage shop cause i was always really fond of that early carasol horse design of her!! i love carosols okay yeah she really really does her makeup like nothing subtle about her makeup and her own eyelashes are pretty long by themself but she wears cartoonishly large fake ones

rainbowdash is tan but not as tan as rarity and like vaguely asian i try not to pick a specific place they come from cause theyre ponies and not like yeah anyway shes stocky and just slightly taller than twilight her hair is all short and spiky the way it is she cuts it herself and shes really really into roller derby and is covered in cuts and scraps and rainbow bandaids and is always wearing her roller blades which are her pony body blue with each wheel a colour of the rainbow and she wears like rolled up blue jean shorts and like pony body colour shirt with a sports vest over it and arm pads like her outfit is like a really bad 90s character design basically and shes studying to be a meterologist but she really wants to go pro roller derby she has her cutie mark on a keychain on her short jeans

applejack is six feet tall which drives her mad cause rarity is taller than her and shes like farmers tan and sun crispy and freakly and wears her pony colour body overals and a shirt thats almost the same colour but not quiet and heavy gardening working gloves because she does her nails and doesnt want them janked up and she does her hair super fancy every morning but ends up just yanking it into a pony tail when she goes to work and always muddy apple print rainboots which serves as a cutie mark but she also has a tattood on her like rarity does she owns tons of fancy her pony coloured dresses for panties she puts on makeup but ends up scrapping it all off before she goes out and like reapplies lip gloss a lot shes like super athetic build like rainbowdash only apples is a bit thinner cause shes taller

(oh wow this one is really far off canon sorta but i really like it and am attached now to it„) flutterfly is feral like lived in the wild for most of her life and can talk to the familys and they to her shes just learning whatever human language and communicates to the others with a chalk boards and shes always surrounded by butterflies and birds and the village frightens her so she stays in the magical forest and the others like ease her out into their civilized world or whatever rarity tries to dress her in that yellow like anything but they always end up getting tattered and stuff cause shes out in about in nature shes like willowy and tall but not as tall as applejack and she has like impossible repunzel hair

So yeah. My bf gave me a mouse to use for gaming since he saw me struggling to use a trackpad for TF2, and with mouse privileges comes with a bit more freedom with drawing digitally. So I wanted to try if I could do some shading and colour experimentation, so I picked G1 Chief as a subject since he has a nice colour palette and I had the toy on hand to study the colours a bit.

Also G1 Chief is totally boss.

I always assumed everyone drew with mouses digitally when I was younger so I just threw myself into learning how to draw with a mouse. Of course I learnt about tablets, but I’m too poor for that so I just kept trucking on with my mouse skills.

Plus I used a lot of ‘traditional’ media tricks I learnt so i guess that explains my weird painterly style. But yeah I’m really proud since this is my first time doing a full piece involving layers and opacities and such…

Sketchy sketchy

So I was at the Santa Monica pier yesterday, and as I was walking back to our car I saw a guy in a Fluttershy shirt walking past me, so I stopped in the middle of a conversation just to point at him and say, ‘Fluttershy’. I kept walking, so for a second I thought he hadn’t heard me or didn’t get it, but then a few seconds later I heard a distant ‘yes!’

Randomly meeting fellow fans of anything, even for a second, is always awesome.

I bought this belt in Hot Topic, and I thought ‘oh, yeah, I should get one for a brony friend’ and then I realised I have like 5 bronies friends and I couldn’t just give away MLP stuff to one and not the others so mleh. Maybe I’ll keep it for a giveaway someday or something. Thought you’d like to see it though.

I’m going to shamelessly flog my friend’s story Daring Do and the Turquoise Serpent because it’s amazing and the lack of reads/reviews on it is really making me sad. This is one of the few MLP stories I’ve been able to read the whole way through, the other being Fallout: Equestria.

(Yes, I did beta this story, but I’m sort of notorious for turning stories away if I don’t like them so anyone who trusts my taste is stories should read this.)

I mean seriously dudes, it’s a story about Daring Do and Mare Do Well teaming up to fight crime. It’s at least worth a look.
